Best house track of all time?

2014 proved that house music is back! However, whilst the last few years have thrown up some contemporary house classics (Maya Jane Coles’s ‘What they say‘ springs to mind) we thought we’d start the year with dropping what we consider to be the best house record of all time…Eddie Amador’s aptly titled ‘House Music’…

Whilst the production values don’t stand up to today’s standards, please bear in mind YouTube’s compression algorithm does this beauty no favours.

Seasons greetings

  Xmas

2014 has been our best year to date in terms of our listener numbers and, as such, all the Brick Lane Radio team would like to thank you for joining us on this journey.  This year has seen the launch of our club night, a number of great live performances and even more talented DJs joining our roster.

In early 2015 we will be launching our record label, East Recordings. We’ve signed up some exciting acts already. As the label will be focusing on underground house music we will be streamlining the station so the two go hand-in-glove. As such, expect to see changes to our Friday night programming (when we play mainroom styles), and we will be dropping the “EDM UK” sub-title from the station’s name.

Finally, we’ll be running all through the festive season (even on Christmas day), and we’ll be announcing our NYE line-up soon, which will featuring some very special sets focusing on the best tracks of 2014 in a number of genres.
